Our week in Sea Isle City with my parents, and next door to my brother's family, was a delight. I am so grateful for the opportunity to spend time with my parents, niece and nephews, B&B, A&J, and the sand, sunshine, and ocean waves.
The kids woke up early one morning to watch the sunrise over the Atlantic. We baked plenty of chocolate chip cookies, played mini golf, swam in the ocean, and spent a fun day at the water park in Wildwood. The boys logged plenty of hours playing Spikeball and video games, and, of course, we made our annual post-dinner trip to Marita's for ice cream. It was a much-needed week to slow down and transition from the school year into summer.
