Another great visit with Uncle Scott -- this time with Uncle Josh too! -- at the Bronx Zoo. 

Christmas 2014/James is 3!

Another delightful Christmas and birthday:  homemade pizza Christmas Eve after the 4pm Mass with Nana and Grandpa, followed up by cookie-eating and singing holiday songs; on Christmas morning, James woke up in the morning claiming that he still wanted to stay 2 years old; the kids slowly opened their presents, which was awesome for enjoying each present; Nana and Grandpa came over for brunch (quiches, sweet breads, fruit) and then birthday cake; a full day of playing (James always in his PJs while Alma changed outfits every few hours); Mexican food dinner. 

December 2014 Photo Updates

 Alma and I went to my work to see Santa Clause -- she wasn't convinced it was a good idea to sit on his lap ... so we sat on this blow up sled instead

 We wanted to get a live tree this year to eventually plant in the backyard.  Without any luck finding one that cost less than $150(!), we went with an adorably tiny fresh cut tree.

The kids helped me to stuff and stamp the yearly Christmas cards.  They are always such enthusiastic and happy helpers with projects.
