Joshua collected baby photos from all the students in his class to have a fun Friday event.  

Let's get a closer look at our two cuties.  The kids in their class were able to identify them immediately.

Mother's Day Weekend

We are so blessed to know so many amazing mothers.  Our moms are awesome, our sisters/sisters-in-law are awesome, our aunts are awesome, our mom-friends are awesome.  We are excited to celebrate all these people in person sometime soon.  In-person celebrations are best, right?  Real hugs, real meals together, real laughing about the children's antics.  Zoom is a solid back up plan, but I'm ready for the real thing.  

To celebrate the pause in my doctoral classes, we had a fun weekend knitting and crotcheting, making cat costumes (sleigh, ballerina, ninja, Santa), and doing some house projects to accommodate the plants and working from home.

When we moved into our house nearly three years ago, we were delighted to find that a snake family lives in our front yard, mostly in the front bush that is next to the garage door.   We see the snakes often and this morning we saw two snakes snuggling in the bush.
