The kids and I had a great time at the Allentown Art Museum today. They had a showing of work from one of my work colleagues from the community college, which I didn't want to miss, and also some arts programming for children. The kids love art museums and were very purposeful about examining everything in every gallery. James especially loved this painting and felt we should spend the day sitting on this bench looking at all of the details. We ended up sitting for quite some time -- the painting is huge and just gorgeous -- much to all of our delight.
