Alma had never really liked bath time. It seemed stressful to her as she concentrated on kicking her legs and not falling over. However, since we took her swimming the other week at a hotel swimming pool, her attitude in the bath tub has changed dramatically. She has started splashing like crazy ... as in all-the-water-splashed-out-of-the-tub type of crazy. It is awesome.
While I don't have a picture of it, she also started swim lessons last week. She was easily the most excited of the ten babies at this first lesson, kicking and splashing the whole time. She didn't even mind going under the water. The other moms were like, "wow, she likes the water!" Their babies were just holding on to them for dear life! Too funny. And I had fun too -- the other moms are super nice and the instructor was fantastic. Hooray for swim lessons! (Plus, she was asleep in the car before I even pulled out of the parking spot. Cute!)
